The Bark Park is pleased to announce the opening of the V.I.P. (Very Important Pup) Grooming Area!
Dog grooming is one of your dog’s basic needs and an important part of dog ownership. Just like people, dogs need physical maintenance to look and feel their best. At The Bark Park it's really the best of two worlds as your pet receives quality grooming plus all the benefits of dog daycare, to include mental stimulation, gaining valuable socialization skills, and getting to use that excess energy playing, not pawing at a wire cage.. all the while, saving you lots of time!
Grooming services will be provided in the brand new build-out located directly beside the daycare. Rates are based on dog size and services provided.
Grooming is by appointment ONLY, or while your pup is here with us during his/her overnight stay. We require a two week advanced notice so we can plan accordingly.
Departure baths and groom packages are provided to Overnight Campers that are departing and have requested services before going home. If you would like your pup groomed or bathed during his/her Overnight Camp stay, please let us know when you make your boarding reservation and fill out a grooming request/bath form.

Choose the V.I.P. Spaw Full Makeover Package if your pup needs a complete grooming service. This includes a bath, blow dry, brush out, nails & paw pads trimmed, feet shaped and tidied, sanitary clip, ears cleaned/plucked and face scissored/tidied followed by a full body clip and style. We finish this off makeover with a coat/skin conditioner and cologne.
The V.I.P. Spaw Day Tub Time Package is for those pups who have shorter coats or do not require the extra pampering. It includes a refreshing bath, blow dry, brush out, nail clip/grind and a gentle ear cleaning. Base price minus $10.
The New Puppy Spaw Day Package (20% off base price) includes a starter spaw session for puppies 8 weeks to 5 months. It includes a bath, ear cleaning, nail trim and a basic clip/scissor if needed. We will work on getting your puppy used to the grooming experience and will take our time to introduce him/her to the clippers/scissors. Start your puppy off on the right paw and get him/her used to being groomed at an early age!
A la Carte Spaw Services:
•FURminate- We pet owners know all about the extra work that goes along with our favorite furry shedders! Besides the quest for a clean house and home, dog fur is a concern for anyone with allergies or infants in the house. FURminator products reduce shedding and encourage healthier skin and shiny topcoat. Enriched with Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids, FURminator products are natural, hypoallergenic and non-drying. The process includes brushing with a special comb to remove the loose undercoat. This service is available for $15.00 in addition to the base price or can be added to any bath.
• Shaggy Shave Down (Base price + $15-$20) This add-on is designed for Medium-Extra Large Breed Dog and includes a shave-down haircut to desired length; typically leaving just enough hair so the skin is not showing.
• De-matting treatment: $15.00
• V.I.P. Pedicure: $10.00 (No appointment needed as we will still be doing this while your pup is in daycare)
• Anal Gland Release: $5.00 with grooming services/ $10.00 without grooming services
• Breath Freshener/Teeth Brushed $5.00
* All base prices are based upon dogs in good to fair condition. The final grooming cost ultimately depends on the condition of your pet's coat, its size, and/or most importantly your pet's behavior. Base prices are subject to increase when a coat is severely matted and requires extra brushing or clipping or when extra time is taken to handle older dogs, puppies, or dogs that are overly timid or are not used to grooming or nail clipping. We will talk with you prior to your scheduled service to inform you of any special de-matting needs and to give you our recommendations as well as a quote.

Bath Packages
We use Bobbi Panter Shampoos and Sprays. These products are gentle and incredibly fragrant and contain all-natural ingredients and are tear-free, salt-free, and safe for dogs. Pick any of the below shampoos for your dog’s bath.
Gorgeous Dog with peach fragrance enriches dog’s skin and coat.
Itchy Dog with green apple scent, works to heal “hot spots” and skin ailments.
Stinky Dog with lavender and rosemary, contains a natural vegetable protein deodorizer to remove smells.
Bad Hair Day with pear fragrance, fights snarls and knots with conditioning and moisturizing ingredients.
Baby Bebe Puppy with cucumber melon scent, stimulates new skin and fur growth with Vitamins A and E.
Snarly Dog Spray with a crispy, clean scent, uses leave-in conditioners and detanglers to give a gorgeous finish.
Grooming Policies
You will be asked to disclose all issues that your pup may have had in the past when getting groomed (i.e. aggressive tendencies, likes/dislikes, and any health conditions). This policy is to ensure the health and safety of both your pup and the groomer, and allows the groomer to be mindful of the pet's behavior while being groomed to alleviate any incidents between the groomer and your pup. You will be informed upon pick up if your pup had any issues or problems with any part of the grooming process.- We will provide a maximum of 15 minutes of de-matting time, IF YOUR PUP IS HIGHLY TOLERANT TO IT. Please keep in mind de-matting a pet is very painful and can ruin the coat. The safest alternative is to strip the pet and start the coat over.
